When top EWS Pro Riders ask you to develop a stiffer more durable fork axle, you listen. The stock 15mm axles and other lightweight aftermarket options were simply not tough enough for their race bikes. Choose to ride even faster by using CeramicSpeed Hub Bearings in your wheels. The DT Swiss-3 wheel kit fits 240s Disc hubs. Other kits are available for DT 240s rim brake hubs, and DT180 as well. The high velocity of wheel bearings means that bearing friction can have a huge impact on performance. Boostinator kits allow non-boost wheels to be mounted in Boost spacing frames and forks. While incremental, the benefits of the "Boost" 15x110mm front and 12x148mm rear axle standards are clear: better clearance for fatter tires & rims and reduced dish for stiffer, stronger wheels. The big bummer? Taking full advantage requires not only a new frame and fork, but new wheels as well. In response, we have developed the Boostinator. When paired with compatible 15x100mm or 12x142mm hubs, Boostinator kits allow existing wheels to be mounted in Boost-standard frames and forks. Disc and drivetrain positions are maintained and, thanks to a quick re-dish, spoke bracing angles are improved. Boostinator kits consist of a specially-designed axle end cap and, in the case of rear kits, a precision-machined rotor spacer with a set of six high-strength bolts. In keeping with Boost specifications, the disc and cassette are shifted outboard, allowing brakes and derailleurs to function as designed. Compatibility: - Front boostinators are only an endcap and do not require a rotor spacer. The same spoke thread treatment used by Stan's pro wheel builders is now available to everyone. Stan's SRD Spoke Powder fills the threads of the spoke and functions as both a lubricant during assembly and a thread lock once built. Each bottle contains 24g (.8oz) which will treat approximately 300 wheels. The PTFE powder in Stan's SRD Spoke Powder acts as a barrier, keeping the metal of the nipple from bonding to the metal of the spoke and preventing spoke wind up during build or adjustment. In promoting a smoother turning nipple, the powder also ensures more accurate and consistent wheel builds, with less “ping and pop" during and after the build. The powder also fills the threads of the spoke to act as a thread lock that prevents loosening and de-tensioning and is particularly well suited for mechanically locking nipples such as Sapim's Secure Lock. - Improves tension consistency and overall build quality - Prevents spoke wind up - Offers secure thread lock between spoke and nipple - Prevents corrosion between spoke and nipple - Can be used dry or as a slurry - Works great with mechanically locking nipples
